Older Processed Messages?

Hi  Folks,

I  need to extract the Older processed  email messages, that are not available in Setup>system Administration> processed messages.I  mean  the  older  ones.

Is  there a way to get  them??

The query that lists the processed messages is not filtered by date/age.  The "older" messages are eliminated from the system based on the value of the following system property:

messaging.savesentmsgsdays

If you need to keep messages longer increase the value of this property.

Our Business needs the  older message , is there no way it can be retrieved ? since it's  not in the processed messages.

No they are removed from the system.

I'll  go  ahead  and  SET  the  property  in the  system,  But  I'll  have  to  take  it through the  change  management system,  how can we  TEST in  DEV and QA  .

It will take the number of days you set the value to for verification that messages are kept for that time then deleted after.  So the number of days +1 overall.   You might be able to manipulate system date to speed up the process but I'm not sure what side effects that might cause.  If you do try that limit the activity in the system.
