Dears;

Can I skip posting for several months however I ran their payroll.

For example I need to skip posting the Payroll results from last August till Jan and start posting from Feb. Can I do that?

Thanks in advance.

You should do the postings of Payroll to FI/CO, and let Finance do the Manual Postings instead of importing the data Payroll is posting.  Then, starting from February 2015, if Payroll does some retroactive calculations, the posting program will only post the variations from the original postings.

Hi,

If FI team is doing manual postings, in this case no need to post through PCP0 (HR to FI). if you post double entries will be happen. but why FI team is posting manually ? and check with them whether they want to post these months later may be after some months, if so then you can't post if you skip now.

So, first talk with FI and your Project Head/Manager about the process and then do as per the requirement.

posting and not posting is simply, through T-code PCP0 if you dont want to post the payroll document just do live run PC00_M99_CIPE and go for next month payroll process.

Dear Kumar;

Previously I've tried to post a specific month and skip a previous month for that posting but actually the system posted the 2 months together, so I was wondering if I could skip posting for number of months and start posting starting from Feb 2015..... Is that possible?

Thanks in advance,

Usually you are not supposed to do this activity since it impacts on company balance sheet account before doing this check with business owners FI/CO team later you can go for a conclusion.
