we have config'ed the automatic updates for PM work orders on save and release. However, there doesn't seem to be a trigger event or batch program which allows me to re-evaluate the availability situation for work orders after 'save' and 'release' work order, but how can we get SAP to update the committed quantity in the work order component/reservation (table RESB, field VMENG) automatically or periodically (e.g. every night) to give the maintenance scheduler up-to-date information in tx IWBK? The IWBK report isn't of much use if we don't automatically update the availability situation after goods receipts or unplanned goods issues of the spares. in other modules there are tx's available to do so (e.g. in SD we got V_V2), but there doesn't seem to be anything alike in PM?
Has anyone the same problem? How did you solve it? did you just write a bespoke report to trigger the AVC again (e.g. using CO_ZA_AVAILABILITY_CHK_ORDER seems to do the trick?)
