A technical object (eg Functional Location) can have an attachment list in Object Services.

How can I see whether such a list exist for an object without opening the Objects Services button?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Kees,

Unfortunately, there is no standard quick and easy way to check for attached documents. You can check Table SRGBTBREL where the GOS entries are maintained.

As the other folks have mentioned, this has to be a custom report. You may want to check the below link out for further reading:

Hope you know that a document is attached by clicking on the Create icon shown below in Blue box.

Hello Kavala,

(is it your First Name?)

Thanks for the answer.
Indeed, no attachments exist fot this one.
But IF one or more exist, can I see the existence of this/these without opening Object Services?

In other words: how do I know whether attachments exist in the general IL0* screen without entering object services. Or perhaps in Object Services a transaction exist where I can see which objects have an attachment....

Regards,

Kees

Hi Kees,

I dont think we will be able to view these attachments any where else.

Only here, you will be able to view the attachments.

Else you need to attachment via document management or as PRT to view it in reporting

You can address me the way you did.

We can see the attachments through GOS only. A report needs to be developed to display of number of attachments Technical object-wise.

For how to retrieve Documents from GOS table, there are many threads available.See these two for example.

Hello Kees,

In the present status of your picture there are no attachments exist. This is understood by the disabled attachments icon shown below (Red box). As soon as the first document is attached, this icon will be dark (enabled). Upon clicking on this you will be presented the list of attachments.

Regards.
