Data in DSO, but not showing in Report

Hello Experts,

I have done a full load today, using an Infopackage which loads data to a DSO. The data is getting successfully loaded to the DSO, but it's not appearing in the report which has been created on the DSO. Also, in the report's browser page, the "Validity of Data" on the top end is the last load and not the one loaded by me today. Please advise as to how this issue can be corrected.

Hi Arnab,

The screen shot you have specified has a creation date filter from 01.01.2015 to 31.12.9999. Can you check the creation date filter.

Is see no columns in the output, is this you business requirement?

Hi Shakthi,

I ran the report using this date criteria, it's not a business requirement. The report should display all the data for this year, that's all. When i am doing the same in BEx Analyzer or RSRT, i am getting what i want, but get a blank report when i am executing it via web browser.

Hi Arnab,

Can you ask your colleagues to run the same report with same selections and see if they can able get any data. There is a posibility of having personalization at portal level for a report, if you have, delete and try to run.

Is user can able to run the report earlier with similar selections? Ask user to run the same report in one of his colleauges machine with same selections.

There might be chances of authorization issue with infoobject or may be lack of roles for a particular application(data), just try to do analysis and let us know your findings.

Can you able run other reports from BEx designer(bex designer, menu  Query--> Execute or publish--> to portal).

I hope the browser here means you are running the report on portal.Check if you have applied any personalizations for it.Also try to remove the filter from creation date as i can see it from the screenshot.

Hello Anshu,

The filter criteria isn't something to worry about since the data is getting displayed for this very criteria in RSRT and BEx Analyzer. However, when i am trying to do the same from the web browser, i am getting the result shown in the attached screen shot.

Try Running the same query in the Bex analyzer by searching the query name and you can also check the query in the designer if any selections are there,,,,

The report shows data even in the Bex Analyzer but doesn't show if i run the report in the portal and from the query. Point is, in the browser version, it doesn't show the data.

Hi,

have you activated the DSO request if not please activate the request

before activation data is avalible in new data tables

after activation data is avalible in active data table.

only active data table avalible for reporting.

are you using any selection or filters in the report.

please open the query designer and check the filters and selections.

The data is in the Active Data table. The request available for reporting symbol is also there. When i check in RSRT, i can see data in the report. But when i open the report in the browser, data isn't available.

Also, i am using no filters, except for the one which i used to load the data in the DSO.

Are you new to bw?

Have you activated your DSO data after the load?

Go to your dso-->right click-->manage-->request tab, see here , loaded request have reporting symbol or not. if have reporting symbol no  issues.

Later one you need to check dso data thru DSO-->manage-->select dso-->click on content display-->later try to see to dso data as per the selections which you used at reporting level.

From RSRT, try to regenarate your query and later try to see the data thru bex analyzer.

From browser, log  out and refresh it.

Again log into browser and check it.

As you checked all thing and you are able to see data in RSRT then it should be visible through Bex analyser also.

generate in RSRT and try once.

Even try to see yoru report results from query designer.

Open your query on bex designer, menu  Query--> Execute or publish--> to portal.

You bex report was fine. But there is some issue between report to portal.

Other than this report, are you able see the data at browser level?

It is visible in Bex Analyzer too but not in the web browser. The users access the data through the web browser, hence the concern.

1)From query designer open this query and execute query on web check from here also you are not able to view data?
