SAP Sales Order budgets: B1

Hi all you SAP gurus,

I am trying to introduce purchasing budget into aour sales orders if possible.

As we run the sales orders as a project, all purchasing is build off the back of the SO. Need to try and limit the purchasing budget per sales order if possible?

Hi Nagarajan,

Yes POs are raise directly from the SO. Would ideally like to be able to restrict the value of PO against a set budget.

Are you looking below scenario?

For example, your SO amount for project is 10,000. So your PO should not exceed 10,000?

Yes, in reality we would have a SO with multiple subtotal, equally $10,000. Then would not allow POs to exceed that subtotal amount?

Hi Grant Langley...

It is not possible by the standard process, but you can customize and alert the end user if it deviates from budget at the time of sales order using the TNSP...
