Hi friends ,

When i am running payroll , i am getting following error

Assignment to feature 40EPF did not take place

please tell me how to solve this issue

Hi Jagan,

Feature 40EPF will be assigned according to the Personnel Area wise because Er PF Trust ID for the specific state will be different number.

Hi Jagan,

In the 40EPF feature you have write like below.

TSTID

ABC

1

Employer Pension Fund Ref. No

Pension Ref. No

If you can get the return like and only getting singly line then give the 40EPF then click on change after that select Go to from menu bar and then go to structure.

In the structure you can able to see the passing type. This value should be 2 as of now. Check this and if it's 1 then make 2 and generate the structure.

Check the attached screenshot and my last reply. Another thing your configuration should be correct as per contribution type.

here instead of personal subarea you will use personal area.

Check once that in the master have you updated correct PF trust id and Pension trust Id.

Hi,

Go to pe03 and give 40epf and then check the documentation where you will get an idea about return value of this feature.

generally you have to mention the pf and pension reference no with contribution type based on provident fund trust. Like below

  XXXX (provident trust I'd)

Hi,

The feature 40EPF has not been maintained. Hence the issue. Go to PE03 transaction and maintain the feature 40EPF. Press F1 for documentation. Usually the return value would your employer TAN number etc..
