How to Fixed asset life period extend

Hi experts

can anyone suggest me

fixed asset has been mistakenly created with 25 years in use full life instead of 5 years.

when the user trying change that

the posting period 2014 already closed like that error message will came please suggest me how to change asset use full life  and what are the impacts

effected to depreciation?

the user don't want any changes in 2014

the changes should only February 2015 only

Hi Pradeep,

I think you have closed the fiscal year 2014 in FI. But in asset accounting you have kept it as open. Due to this it is throwing error. First you have to close the year 2014 in asset accounting by AJAB. Later you change the life. The changes of depreciation will be applicable for open fiscal years only i.e.2015 onwards.
