Multi Language support

We're just starting to get into self serve analytics.  We have a HANA appliance tied to our ECC system in sidecar mode.  I've installed AOffice on my laptop.

The ECC system we're tied to is a Spanish system.  Very little of the master data has been maintained in both Spanish & English.

I'm consuming a bunch of HANA Live Virtual Data Models.  So far, all column headings, all appear in English.

If I wanted to support Spanish, where would I start?

Just a few questions, Mark

1) which version of Analysis Office are you using?  Which SP?

2) Are the HANA Live models in English or Spanish?  Could they be translated into Spanish and then consumed by Analysis Office?

AOffice is 1.4.10.3290

HANA is version 82 SP 8

So far I believe all the models are in English.  When I consume them through either AOffice or Lumira, all the measure & dimensions appear in English.

If translating the VDM's to Spanish is what it takes, then yes we could take that approach.

Hi Mark - I think translating VDM's is your best option to try; sounds like you are on the latest release of Analysis Office.
