hello All,
I have a situation where I have to create a keyfigure in such a way that it is not aggregated when I see monthly overall results in reports.
scenario --
calday | start date | end date | keyfigure |
---|---|---|---|
01.01.2014 | 01.01.2014 | 15.01.2014 | 500 |
02.01.2014 | 01.01.2014 | 15.01.2014 | 500 |
.. | 01.01.2014 | 15.01.2014 | 500 |
16.01.2014 | 16.01.2014 | 31.01.2014 | 900 |
31.01.2014 | 16.01.2014 | 31.01.2014 | 900 |
we will have 15 rows with calendar day as 01.01.2014 until 15.01.2014 with value of keyfigure as 500
we will have another 15 rows with calendar day as 16.01.2014 until end of the month with value of keyfigure as 900
When I aggregate the keyfigure for month of January, it should be 500+900 = 1400.
please guide what should be the settings for the keyfigure to achieve the desired result. and also if we can do some settings in the backend for the keyfigure settings it would be more helpful.
thank you so much
Tanu
You can do this with the help of Exception aggregation.
Make a new formula and put your keyfigure inside it-Hit the aggregation tab--Exception aggregation as first value and reference characteristic as calendar day.
Just give it a try and see if this works or not.
