Hi Raf,

Yeah I checked it out, but my hierarchy is non-standard.  Yep that as well, it wasn't difficult enough.

I'm thinking about the "own implementation' solution.  I have written a FM that works fine as an extractor.  But now I want to use it in a class to have it via Direct access.  But I'm kind of stuck here.

something you forgot to mention in your initial post ?

hmmm... I would have a look at the CL_RSRTS_HIERARCHY_ODP which (to me at least) seems to be the closest thing to what you're trying to achieve
