Unable to use text data source 1CL_AUC_001

Hi BW Gurus,

I have added two new characteristics to material classification data source 1cl_omat001 using transaction code CTBW or SBIW.

Earlier this data source has four characteristics added and i am able to see the text data sources for those characteristics but i am unable to see the text data source for new characteristics which i added now.

UC_AGICODE is the characteristic i have added and characteristic data source created for this is 1CL_AUC_001, but i am unable to see this in RSO2 transaction.

Any pointers highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ashok:

classification DSs are populated using function modules so, you can't run this from RSO2.

If you want to see the data use RSA3

To see the Text DS for 1CL_AUC001: go to CTBW >> Highlight the 1CL_AUC_001 >> doubleclick on the folder on the left side

Which SAP field does UC_AGICODE map to? Is it in the same tables as the other text fields in 1CL_AUC_001?

Which data source is 1CL_AUC_001? I cannot find that one.

Hi Bill,

ATNAM is the field from CABN table is mapped to this chracteristic name UC_AGICODE.

Table is same for all the fields, characteristic data source 1cl_auc_001 created at the time of adding the aforementioned characteristic to 1cl_omat001.

That is the problem even i am unable to find this data source.
