Hi Experts,
we have been facing an issue , when i run PPDS product heurestics manually in //RRP3 planned orders are getting created out of the PPDS horizon
PPDS Horizon- 120days
Lot size - periodic lot size 1 day
Product Heuristic - Planning of Standard Lots for Conti- I/O
Resource utilization - 100%
Resource availability - 12hrs.
Min lot size - 1000
Rounding - 1000.
when we increase the Resource avialability or when we run it with Max lot size orders are getting created within PPDS horizon. but we cant change these things.

please provide your inputs

Hi Raja,
This can happen in the planning.
When you run heuristic Planning of Standard Lots for Conti- I/O, it will only read requirements which fall in PPDS horizon, and the requirement out of PPDS will be ignored. The planning will create receipts to cover these requirements, and these receipts will be scheduled according to the resource capacity. If the resource capacity inside PPDS horizon is not enough to fill these receipts, then livecache scheduler can schedule the order to the future, which can be out of PPDS horizon.

Claire
Hi Raja,
What is the heuristic maintained at product level?
Did you tried with Max.Lot.Size = 1000?
Thanks, Marius

Hi Marius,
thanks for responding to the request,
Heurestic used in product level - Planning of Standard Lots for Conti- I/O
If we use Max lot size , it will create orders within PPDS horizon.
user is not willing to use the option of Max lot size, since Max lot size keeps changing from businesses point.
for Master data related things you can see the attachment
looking forward for a reply.
Thanks
