WebIDE throws error HTTP 500 No RelatState cookie found when creating an extension project

Hello,

I am getting the following error when I try to create an extension project using WebIDE. I am picking an app from SAP ABAP Repository. Every step works fine, until it reaches the point where it has to open the app in Extension Pane and it throws following message -

HTTP Status 500 - Authentication failed. Reason: No RelayState cookie found in the request. SAML 2.0 authentication failed.

Tried hard to find out some solution but haven't been able to get one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rohit

    Hi Rohit,

This happens because your system is configured to use SAML 2.0 and Web IDE doesn't support it.

You need to change your configuration to Basic Authentication and then it will work.

    Michal.

    Hello Michal,

Thank you for replying. I am using Basic Authentication in the destinations in HCP. Hopefully you are referring to that. This has not solved this issue. It is very strange, if I do this in Firefox, I am able to open up the extension.

Do you have any other suggestions? Really appreciate.

    Thanks

    Rohit

The icon in your address bar next the star indicates that you have your browser set to block sending cookies, which is most likely causing your issue.

Try to unblock the cookies for webide as suggested by Jamie Cawley . It will work.
