LSMW and Solman question

I am learning SAP MM. Just started learning LSMW and SOLMAN.Sapians say LSMW and Solution Manager are not much used in SAP Projects as they are not that good/there are better tools available. Is it true? If true what other other popular tools available? Thanks in advance.

Well, there is no hard and fast rule. It depends on the Company which tool they want to use. However, it is better if you know how to use LSMW or SOLMAN from a Functional Consultant perspective. There is a wonderful document written by one of the Consultants on LSMW sep by step-
