dose any function to plan several same workcenters

Hi PP,

We are facing such scenario:

We have five machines for the same operation, when we produce one material, we would use any No. of mahines.

meterail       machine       order

                       | #1 |

                       | #2 |

    A         -->   | #3 |           Order1

    A         -->    | #4 |          Order1

                       | #5 |

Now we only use one work center to group 5 mechine with 5 capacity. We can plan capacity and scheduling of the orders. But in system we can see the status of each machine.

Is there any function to fulfill such requirment?

I think, your query is regarding planning of individual capacity mentioned as 'No. of individual capacity' in work center.

You are right, that what we are doing now.

But we can't see the utillization of each machine in system. the usage of machine 1#, 2#...

and the situation of machine switch in the same order.

I guess there is no standard function to do that, I am not sure.

Hi Geoffrey,

If it is very essential to plan individual capacity then create separate work center for each machine which would simplify planning.
