Parameter 1001 in a GRC AC Plug-In system

Hello all

We are using GRC AC EAM decentralized and ID-based.

I would like to connect our development system as well to the GRC AC test system as to the GRC production system. Therefor I was told by SAP to use parameter 1001 and create an appropriate sequence. When I try to do this I can create the desired entries but whenever I try to save my changes I always get the following error message:

Entry already exist for the given Paramid

(Application Area: /GRCPI/GRIA_MSG; Message number: 153)

Am I doing something wrong? Did I misunderstand the meaning of Parameter 1001?

Thanks in advance for any help or information.

Kind Regards

Carsten

Hi Carsten,

parameter 1001 is used as pointer to your GRC system. Hence you need to configure this parameter in your system so that EAM can work.

Please check if the parameter is already maintained, and if yes, change the value.

Also share a screenshot of your parameter configuration.

Hi Alessandro,

first of all thanks for your fast answer.

Maybe my question was not detailed enough.

I know that parameter 1001 is used as a pointer to the GRC system (EAM works fine in our landscape) but I want to use/connect two GRC systems in our development system:

- GRC development (for testing purposes)

- GRC production

SAP told us to create an appropriate sequence for parameter 1001 but I can't save more than one entry in view /GRCPI/GRIA_VCON.

Any idea?

Carsten

Hi Carsten,

as far as I know it's not possible to have two entries for 1001. If SAP has mentioned that, then you should directly tell them that this is not working.

Best regards,

Alessandro
