Hi experts
I was working in sap pi 7.4 when i tried to activate the message mapping.
But when i try to activate it in the activated change list, it's showing activating change list standared change list from the last 1 hr.
finally i have to shut down the ESR window and restart again
i also tried to make the changes and activate si/mt/dt/om it's getting activated
I have tested this thing after creating the new message mapping but same issue
I have created the new namspace still the same thing is happening
I have asked my coolegue to check if she can activate but she is alsp landing up in the same situation
does anybody out here knows the solution?
Hi nunu,
now I have the same problem.
How did you resolve it?

Hi Nunu,
Check first your Mapping Runtime cache is ok:
Monitoring the Cache - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library
I don't know if you are in a single or dual stack, but you can check if the caches are right or not, may be the activation fails because PI can't store the mapping in the cache.
From message mapping activation there is a bug for 7.1 with this issue (1343237 - Unable to activate message mapping ), but you are in PI 7.4, you should open an OSS assistance and to ask if this bug could be present in PI 7.4 as well.
Regards.

Is this the only object in the change list..Are other objects getting activated quickly?

You mean to say, activation of change list is taking longer time?
