SAP PO 7.4 SOAP to IDoc using Sync Async Bridge for IDoc Receiver

Hello Guys,

Have you configured a SOAP to IDOC that uses Sync Async Bridge to create a response for the SOAP Sender? The message to be sent back is somewhat like the sender structure, but should be in a synchronous pattern. Please advise, thank you for your response.

Hello,

This is solved using Sync Async Bridge with the following design:

1st Integrated Configuration:

1. Sender System (S/A Bridge)

2. Mapping for IDOC with "hidden logger" in the variable - that creates a copy of the received message in SAP PI's folders which had the Message ID as filename - in order to avoid splitting of message that changes the Message ID and will not close the S/A Bridge

2nd Integrated Configuration:

1. Picks the file in SAP PI's folder

2. Mapping for changes in the structure

3. Send the message to the SOAP Receiving Communication Channel to Notify the closing of S/A Bridge - correlation ID = Filename processed in 2nd ICo step 1

Maybe I can document it once I have more time.

Hi Genica

Thanks a lot for the sharing your final solution. It does sounds like a candidate for a blog/document when you have the time for it. Particularly looking forward to the part about the "hidden logger".

Rgds
