XML Form - Link open in Portal Content Area

I have created an XML form which displays a list of images as links to KM documents (eg a Read More... link).

The problem I have run into is that any link that you click on opens up in a new window.

Is there a setting somewhere that indicates that all links should be opened in the portal content area, rather than in a new window?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Regards

Richard

    Hi,

Just to cross verify, have you checked up the workprotect settings in your Portal.WorkProtect Mode prevents unsaved data from being lost as a result of navigation. When you activate this feature, all navigation links are launched in a new window, keeping the active window with the unsaved data intact.

Please check up the workprotect settings in the Personalize window of your Portal.

This link should provide the idea.

    Hope this helps.

Hi Harish, thanks for your reply.

I have checked the WorkProtect setting, and it was set to Default Portal Setting

I tried changing this (and restarted the browser after each change), but it didn't seem to make any difference .

      Any other suggestions?

      Thanks

      Regards

      Richard

Hi Harish, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that, but hopefully the following is what you were after:

I have created the xml form (using the xml forms builder) with an image that has the hyperlink property set to "/DataSchema/TargetURL" where TargetURL is a node in the data model.

The link works fine, EXCEPT that it opens in a new window, and I want it to open in the Portal Content Area.

If I view the source of the page, then the link is as follows:

      Read" target="_blank">http://www.google.com/')">Read more...

Now clearly this is calling a javascript function that is opening the new window, so what I need to know is how to change this so that it doesn't open a new window, but rather opens in the portal content area. Surely there must be a setting in the XML Forms builder to do this?

I hope this is what you were asking for. If not, could you please clarify what you want me to tell you.

Thanks very much for your assistance!

      Regards

      Richard
