Standard ALV Charateristics layout in Ie05 after enabling LOG_EAM_CI_6

Hi

I run ECC 6.00 Ehp7.

I've enabled new Business function LOG_EAM_CI_6 to view the equipment charatecristics in IA05.

The feature works fine, but I can't customize and save Non-Users ALV layouts (which beginning  with /), so any user have to provide by himself to define and save its own layouts, because teh standard /0000000001 created by the system is not useful.

I've tried to update tables LTDX and LTDXT by copy a my default layout to /000000001, but system overwrite it everytime  and show /0000000001 even if the standard layout is another one.  

Any idea how to solve the issue ?

Sorry for the initial misunderstanding. The following OSS note explains this standard behavior.

On the other hand, although this is teh standard behavior of the report, there are still options not in the report, but in the Classification Space:

And one more thing... Do you know that LAYOUTS can be transported. So maybe you can try managing/creating the new layout in your development and transport it into PROD. (Menu path LAYOUT --> ADMINISTRATION)

I believe the transaction you are talking about is IA05.

I am not sure whether I understood you properly but I had an ALV & Layout consistency issue sometime ago and OSS Note  504384 - ALV-SOS: Consistency check was helpful.

Yes teh transaction is IA05. after activate  LOG_EAM_CI_6 business function, you can show in your alv layout both Equipment and equipment characteristics from classification. so teh transaction use 2 different ALV layout 1 for EQUI fields and 1 for Characteristics, but unfortunately for teh last one, is not possible save a System layout  (beginning with /), so every user need to create its own because system default layout is not adequate.
