Query on physical inventory along with HU in SAP WM

I have a material which has HU number assigned to it. Now i want to perform physical inventory for this material in SAP WM.

When I do counting in LI11N, it says HU status not changeable process cancelled.

How to perform PI for a material assigned to HU number.

for HU managed storage location you are supposed to use HUINV for physical inventory document . Please follow the below mentioned Standard SAP link for process steps

can you please elaborate your query "How the stock is managed at WM level"

Did you had a look on the link which i shared earlier with you related to physical inventory process when storage location is HU managed what is you observation

Yes i checked but my concern is i have stock maintained at both IM and WM level for which i want to perform PI

so i think HUINV will take care only IM stock what about WM stock.
