Fiori Launchpad displays a blank screen

My Fiori Launchpad displays a blank screen when running the FioriLaunchpad URL

https://******/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html

I installed Fiori and everything appears to be configured ok. I then installed the backend components for Leave Requests (GBHCM002 and GBHCM003). I created a new catalog and group in the launchpad designer and assigned them to my role.

I activated the ICF services, and launchpad services via /iwfnd/maint_service. Services are assigned to LOCAL system alias and browser calls are successful and I see no errors when testing via the gateway client.

The following components are installed and I have a combined frontend and backend system running on SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp7.

I’ve checked ICM logs, ran the cache jobs and authorisations trace. I’m not seeing any errors anywhere so finding it impossible to troubleshoot 😔

Please help!

Thanks

Amanda

I'm still having issues patching SAPUI5 to 1.26.5. Currently running 1.26.1:

I've downloaded UI5CLIENT26P_5-80000549.ZIP as per SAP note 2120986

When I try to upload via /UI5/UI5_UPLOAD_PATCH_TO_MIME as per SAP note 2118663.

    I get the following:

    Please help!

    Thanks

    Hi,

Can you check if there are any errors in chrome console tool? you can launch it by pressing F12 key.

    Regards,

    Chandra

This is an error that occurs on 1.26.1 for older version of IE (like IE9 on Win7) where it works in IE11, Firefox, Safari and Chrome. Upgrade to atleast 1.26.6 and it works.

We had the same problem (Fiori launchpad didn't work in IE9, but worked in Firefox and Chrome) - errors in IE9 were caused by older version of Core UI libraries (1.26.1). On system with higher version of Core libraries (1.26.8) everything works.

    Hi Amanda,

    Is this Embedded architecture ?

If yes, can you try to run the Fiori Launchpad admin URL as well.

      My U15 library is 1.26.1.

When I try to upgrade to 1.26.5 with /UI5/UI5_UPLOAD_PATCH_TO_MIME selecting zip file UI5CLIENT26P_5-80000549.ZIP I get version in file inconsistant 1.26.5

I've gone through SAP notes 2058624 and 2103131 and checked SE80 updates are against the program.

I looked through the other SAP notes but can't see anything relevant.
