HR Box + ECC box + GRC ARM 10.1

Dear All

My Client is implementing HR org structure + GRC 10.1 ARM component - no BRM component.

but the HR component is installed in a sepearate box than the ECC box.

previously i have worked on generating HR triggers to GRC ARM where the HR & ECC was in the same box.

now my issue is:

a. if HR Org structure is in sepearate box, the ECC roles in another box.

how do i tag one position role sitting in ECC box to a JOB position in HR BOX.

as i said earlier we arent using BRM component where i could use the Business role concept to map technical roles into one Business role & then map the business role to a job position in the HR org structure.

Hence how do i map end users roles sitting in ECC box to positions in HR Box?

let me know if your thoughts on the same.

Hi Naveen,

We've done exactly that with a more complicated solution landscape.

The issues is that there is no standard mechanism to use roles from a different system assigned to HR Positions.

Therefore, we built a solution which used the roles within an HR system assigned to a position / Job which then called the appropriate business role in GRC to extend the cross system authorisations out across the remaining SAP instances based upon the HR triggers.
