Hello Guys,
I have an infosource [0GL_ACCOUNT_TEXT]and when i double click on it i see the infoobjects in the communication structure only, and not in the transfer structure/Transfer rules. How do i go about the process of loading data with this infosource?
hi Gopan,
try to activate/install from business content, rsa1->business content->right frame 'collection mode' set to 'manual...', left frame click 'object types', middle frame click 'infoobjects' and 'select objects' and choose '0gl_account' and 'transfer', click 'source system assignment' (yellow box with 'X' icon) and make your r/3 source system is marked. in right frame click 'grouping' choose 'in dataflow before', click execute, system will collect object, please wait awhile, after finished, expand the '0gl_account' and check if there is 'transfer rules', 'transfer structure' etc.
click 'install'->'install'.
before this, make sure the datasource '0gl_account_text' has been transfered from business content in r/3 (transaction rsa5).
hope this helps.

Hi Gopan,
You would need to assign the source system and data source to this infosource in order to create the transfer rules. Have you done this step?

Hi Gopan,
Please heck in your corresponding R/3 system to see if this datasource has been activated. Look it up in RSA6. I fyou find it, them it means that the datasource has been activated and you need to replicate the datasource in the BW system. If not, then you need to first activate it in RSA5.
After actiavtion, you need to replicate the datasource in the BW system. Post back if you need help to do this.
Hi Gopan,
If you have replicated the datasource in the BW system, and it is nor assigned to any other InfoSource,it should come up in the list. In RSA1> Source Systems > double click on your source system > Put your cursor on the top most node in the right hand pane and then search for your datasource. Do you find it here?
