We have many transactions which start as a sale but then go out of our building on a Purchase order (for service) and we need to track these transactions throughout a 30-45 day period. Is there any reporting which links the Purchasing module and the Sales Module and shows information for both modules in one report? We are new to SAP and have been live for approximately 1 month so we are in our very beginning stages of learning all of the possibilities of SAP.
Hi Michael,
As Purchasing comes from Materials Management module and Sales from Sales & distribution module both are having different Transaction codes and different transaction contains different data. So, data is stored into different tables due to this there is no such direct link between the transactions so if you require a single report you can develop your own customized report with help of your ABAP team. with giving the functional logic that exactly what data you want to fetch in the report.
