What is the right time/stage for requesting new Production Tenant with Solution profile copy

We are doing  a fresh implementation of  Cloud for customer integrating with ERP. We have Scoped the 'First Implementation' project.

I understand there are 4 Phases and major milestones until Go Live

1.Prepare Phase - Confirm Milestone: Design Accepted

2.Fine-Tune Phase - Confirm Milestone: Solution Accepted

3.Integrate and Extend Phase

4.Test Phase - Confirm Milestone: Go Live Readiness Accepted.

5.Go Live Phase - Confirm Go Live and then Close Project

Current Status

1.Currently we have completed milestone 'Confirm Milestone: Design Accepted'

2.Fine tuning activites have been completed but not yet confirmed the milestone 'Solution Accepted'

3. Migrated and tested all master data from test ECC to test C4C tenant.

My Questions

1) When can we request for production Tenant with Solution profile copy?

2) If we request for Production tenant now can we complete rest of the activity in the production tenant

Timing is important when requesting the production tenant.  If you request production too soon, then you manually have to update it with any configuration/adaptation changes that you may make in the test tenant while completing testing.  If you request it too late, then it could negatively impact the schedule for your go-live since it takes some effort to prepare it.  I typically request mine once the Readiness Acceptance q-gate is complete, when the testing is complete and there's little risk for configuration changes.  But some customers' internal processes require a few weeks to prepare the connectivity between C4C and ERP production systems, so you may need to request the production tenant a little earlier and manually update any configuration changes.

Thanks for your reply. It would be great if you could shed some light on the below points.

1) After Production tenant is created with Solution profile copy - Can the fine tuning activities marked as 'No' in 'Repitition required' column be changed in production tenant?

2) Is it possible to merge solution profile from Test to production tenant after changes are made to Test tenant fine tuning activities that were not copied earlier?

3) Is it possible to merge solution profile from production tenant to test tenant to copy the changes made in production to the test tenant?
