Breakdown duration

Hi Gurus,

I have a little problem and a question :

As the moment of creation of a notification, the Breakdown notification tick is grayed out :

1- How i can activate it in order to indicate the Breakdown?
2- If it's indicated as Breakdown, the system will flag the system condition => 0 once the order is associated ?
3- On which base (Time) the system calculate the Breakdown duration ?

Please I need precise answers specially for the last question.

1- How i can activate it in order to indicate the Breakdown?

Answer: GO Transaction OIAL select Radio button as Input for Breakdown as below




2- If it's indicated as Breakdown, the system will flag the system condition => 0 once the order is associated


Answer:No system wont flag system condition => 0 Once the order is associated

3- On which base (Time) the system calculate the Breakdown duration ?


Answer:System will calculate the Breakdown duration on the basis difference  between Start of Malfunction (Date) ,Start of Malfunction (Time) and End of Malfunction (Date),End of Malfunction (Time)

Hi Karim,

1. Check in OIAL for the Notification whether the field is in display mode.


2. I dont think this occurs automatically, you need to update it manually or through user exit.


3. System calculates the breakdown time from Malfunction start and End date / time

Hi Karim,

check customizing: OIAL

No, the system condition in the order header is not affected.

Breakdown duration = start date/time of notification till reference date/time of order/notification (= normally the timestamp of the technical closure).
