Now, regarding your question, the serial number doesn't work with kanban in standard, so there are no fields for serial numbers in any of kanban transactions.
Kanban is often run for quick-running procurement cycles so the general procedure of MM out of kanban would be more suitable if stock should be managed accurately by serial numbers.
