movement types

Dear Friends:

consumption values are not updated in the table mver.I checked OMJJ (Movement Types), and could not find out which movement type, i have to change to 'R' , i.e mver gets updated. there are a couple of movement types and unable to say exactly which movement type is effecting the table mver.

Requesting you to help me, how to find out which movement type, i should change to update table mver?

All the help will be greatly appreciated.

Sridhar,

It is upto your Business situation. But I shall quote two examples:

1) Movement type 251 - Goods Issue for Sales. Here, the Material Master/Plant view should be updated with sales qty from which Material was issued

2) Movement type 641 - Goods Issue for Stock Transfer. Here the Sending plant should be given credit and its Article/Plant view should be updated with consumption.
