Factory Calendor Updates

Hello,

I was trying to move changed factory calendors only from Dev to Qas and Prod, I was trying to do this activity using Manual TR creation of type "Transport of Copies", How can i proceed this, Can anybody help me out

I depends on the Implementation trends of company from Starting.

transport of copies is not required for do this , you can directly make transport from SCAL after Changes done in DEV.

The way you are following is best - DEV->QAS->Production. but should be controlled. because if anyone other than your knowledge can change in dev and it will move to qas and production (critical).

so it should be rights controlled in DEV also.

some companies open clients individually and make changes directly in PRD and QAS for this. that have now risk of above type.

I think my Ques was not clear!

I changed two facotry calendors as per client requirement in DEV but there I have 50 more calendors in DEV system, so i can not use transport option right?

Now I had an idea to transport this calendor using se10 and create manual TR and import only changed objects only if it can work

If any one has done this method before please tell me..

It is very difficult to select object's for this process like you are trying. this option is only best for one or two table entries.

the best way open client QAS then make changes and give for testing. and close it.

and then open client PRD make changes and after confirmation close it.

THanks! but here I need to do the changes for 2 calendors and after two days i got again request to do this for 2 more! so this activity looks like very critical to open and close again and again, so i was trying different method to do this!

Why "Transport of Copies" if you are moving the change from D-  to Q and P ?

Ok.. I have not worked on this scenario to be honest as I am from Basis.

However, have a look at these recommendations and see if that helps.
