discount per sales rep


We wish to do a compilation of sample amounts, discounts and gratuities we give. The objective is to enable representatives to make investment decisions with their clients for business development by limiting the number of authorizations and facilitating the follow-up task. We also want to compile the amounts allocated by the representatives and present them in the report on their dashboard.

This method would serve to:

- Offer free transportation when needed

- Give samples to develop sales

- Give small discounts / offsets when it makes a difference for P / R purposes

Here is a brief summary of what I had envisaged:

- Use the delivery field on the submission or order document

- Limit the amount to $ 250 without authorization

- Limit the total to $ 5,000 if possible

- Send this charge in marketing expenses specific #GL

The disadvantage of this method is that we create an expense to match our cost + profit rather than our costing only. On the other hand, this can be seen as a waiver of a potential income (profit) for marketing purposes.

The presentation of the dashboard could show a list of the 10 customers who received the most gratuities for each representative with three columns. This acts as a guide and reflects the philosophy of what we want to do with this power given to representatives:

• Opportunity level

• Total allocated

• Total sales YTD.
