Unable to modify PO Qty/ delete PO after completing account maintenance and migo reversal.

Hi Team,

I need to edit the qty of a PO/ delete PO. There has been a reversal of few qty's after MIGO and account maintenance has been done for the same PO.

Iam not able to edit /delete the PO.

The error that pops up is as given below:

"Quantity smaller than Quantity issued"

Hi All,

I finally got to resolve it. The solution was very simple actually. You just need to add one line in the same PO with the returned Qty and mark it RETURNS PO. The pending qty in the PO is 0 then after.

I don't think its a correct solution. Honestly saying, you are doing another mistake to hide your existing mistake.

Have you read the Diagnosis of the error message ?

What did you do for that message ? Can you post a screen shot of your PO with PO history ?

Hi Dib,

Im not supposed to put the screenshot in public portal.

The Qty in the PO is 280. The GR has been done for 280 and then there is a reversal of 35. Now the open qty in PO is 35. We need to decrease the qty in PO to 245 and close the PO. Is this possible?

As per your this scenario, system should issue the message 06 088, not 06 089.

06 089 will show in the case of STO process. When you will post a Goods issue against the purchase order number.

And yes, of-course this is possible, check the PO header status Delivery quantity should not be greater than order quantity.

By the way, you can post screen shot, you can hide your all personal details.

You can't edit this portion. It is sum of item level.

You need to change the quantity at item level, the header-status will update automatically.

still its not allowing to save with the reduced qty.

The message is talking about goods issue quantity, hence it can only be a stock transfer.

And a stock transfer has to be in balance, if goods issue and goods receipt is not in balance, then there is still goods in transit, hence you cannot close the PO.

In order to overcome from this scenario,You have to flag the order completely on GR side aswell.

Dear Arun,

Kindly change the quantity same as GR made and try, It seems you have tried to give less then GR qty.
