Hi Experts,

We have customized the standard Paystub application in our scenario, but when we click on open as PDF button in FIORI client mobile app.

We are able to view the PDF, but getting an issue like unable to see the DONE button in footer, as we are able to see the DONE button in standard

paystub application as below.

Please find the below screen shorts for more information.

We are unable to view the footer in our application

Any suggestions on resolving the issue will be greatly helpful..

Thank you in Advance..

Regards,

Mohan babu

Did you build the Fiori Client from the SDK or are you using the one from the Apple App Store?

What version of the Fiori Client are you using?

Hi Mohan

The next version of Fiori Client (1.2) is in the Apple review process. We can check out the behavior you mentioned in FC 1.2 if you can share the URL/creds you are using.

Also can you share what components are installed on the server and version of UI5 used.

Thanks

Hi,

I am having the exact same problem.

When I try to open a PDF document in the standard app "Approve Travel Expense" i get the footter and the "Done" button.

When i open a PDF document using the exact same method as in the standard app, my document is opened but I have neither fotter nor "Done" button.

Is there a parameter you need to set before this footer is presented?

The document is returned to the app by using the "Get_Stream" method, same as in standard.

I am using version 1.2.3 of the SAP Fiori app from apple store.

I dont think it is a version problem though, as I can see the "Done" button fine using the same version of the app to access both standard and custom app. But the result differs.

Best regads,

Jesper Schjødt.

The following document goes into a bit more detail about the process of opening attachments in a Cordova application.

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-59426

If you take a look at the code in

plugins\com.sap.mp.cordova.plugins.attachmentviewer\www\attachmentviewer.js

You can see that the method window.open and href is over ridden so that links are opened in a separate inAppBrowser rather than the main window.

Perhaps that will help debug the problem/ help identify the difference.

Thank you David!

It sounds like a very good place to look and I think you just solved my problem.

I'll take a look at it and get back to you with the result.

Hi,

Once just cross verify the application information from TX. LPD_CUST,

In Additional Information tab we defined sapui5.component=xxx

Later we  have changed with SAPUI5.Component=xxxx

That hit the spot, now I get the "Done" button.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Hi Jesper,

how did you solve your problem? I use SAP Fiori Client 1.2.3 from AppleStore on the iPad (iOS 8.1.3) and the standard Fiori-App Approve Requisitions from UIX01EAP component.

All configurations of apps in LPD_CUST are standard, however this "Done" button is not displayed.

Best Regards,

Dmitry
