Hi All,

We are using BODS 4.1 version. We have 2 ETL servers and both are under a server group. Some times when we try to open Management console through a webbrowser(IE/Chrome) we are getting the below error message.

"NO REPOSITORY FOUND. PLEASE CONTACT ADMINISTRATOR TO REGISTER A REPOSITORY IN THE CENTRAL MANAGMENT CONSOLE".

Some times when we face this issue from Server1, if we change to 2nd server name in webbrowser it works fine and it shows all repositories and can execute job. Some time after 5 to 6 attempts of opening and closing the browser then management console appears properly and works fine. Please find attached screen shot for reference. Did any one faced this kind of issue. If so, How can we resolve this issue permanently.

Hi Siva,

Below is the content in mentioned KBA:

2085269 - No Repository found. There is a problem to connect to repository: [Unable to reconnect to the CMS <server>:6400. The session has been logged off or has expired. (FWM 01002)] - SAP Data Services 4.2 SP03

Symptom

After a timezone system modification:

  • Data Services Management Console cannot find any repository and it gives  message : (No Repository found. Please contact Administrator to register the repository in the Central Management Console)
  • In CMC the defined repositories are all inactive status When attempt to test the connections, it gives error : "There is a problem
to connect to repository: [Unable to reconnect to the CMS <server>:6400. The session has been logged off or has expired. (FWM 01002)]"

Environment

  • BI : 4.1 SP3
  • DS: 4.2 SP3
  • DB: Oracle 10g
  • OS:  Redhat Linux

Cause

Implemented some changes (changed the server time from Summer to Winter) to CMS server infrastructure and did not recycle the rest of the dependent software hosting servers including Data Services.

Resolution

1. From Central Configuration Manager, disable all the services: Tomcat; SIA and Web Intelligence and re-enable them.

2. Log into Central Management Console and go to the server area.

3. Go to the properties of Central Management Server, in command line parameters type -request timeout 3600000 (60 min).

Please Note:

IdleSessionTimeout = Decimal 60000 (1 Min)

Hi Daya,

Here the repository added and it is working fine. The problem is some time when we open a Management console through browser it displays that message. After some time or after attempting 5 to 6 times of opening management console through browser then it gets resolved.

My question is how to resolve this issue with out occurring this frequently.

Hi,

I think, in the CMC console your repository is going to deactivate automatic.

Check in the CMC console your repository is activated or not.

Hi Srinivas,

When I open a management console through browser, this occurs some times. After giving 5 to 6 attempts opening in the browser then it shows. This is occurring frequently.
