No portal role has been assigned to this user.

Hi Everyone

All roles are assigned in ECC and Portal but the user cannot access sap.

The following error appears "No portal role has been assigned to this user."

So the user was replicated in test environment  and there the user was able to access.

Roles are same in both environment

But in production the user is not able to access it.

Please help

The issue has been resolved.

All the portal Roles were refreshed and they became visible.

Hi Abhinav,

For test purpose, assign the problematic user with super_admin_role and see if the 'admins' are coming.

And if so, check what's wrong with ESS and UWL roles, on this exact system.

Can you outline the systems & their connectivity where you have the issue? Also, please share which roles you are talking about? That would help in understanding the issue further.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We are portal 7.01.

When the user logs in the Portal the following error occurs

"No portal role has been assigned to this user. If you still have the issue, please contact your administrator"

The roles are assigned in both ECC and Portal and he is able to access the roles in Quality system but he is unable to do so in Production

The roles are

SAP ESS travel and expenses
