Apache Tomcat Not Showing in Eclipse Server Runtime Environment

Hi Experts,

I am trying to configure Apache Tomcat in my eclipse but not able to configure it. Under “New Server Runtime Environment” there are no servers listed so not able to add tomcat. Please assist.

I have installed Tomcat version 7.0 and using eclipse Juno.

Hello Varun,

Did you perform steps similar to the following?

1. Help > Install New Software
2. Select the Juno site: http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno
3. Expand the 'Web, XML, and Java EE Development' node
4. Select and install 'JST Server Adapters' and 'JST Server Adapters Extensions'
5. Window > Preferences > Server > Runtime Environments > Add

Performed the above mentioned steps and was able to see Apache Tomcat under New Server Environment.
