Hi ,
I have a doubt and I need your advice.
I have changed the ABC Indicator percentage to 60,30 &10. I have also deleted the D indicator, but there are materials which are having D indicators.
Now when are running the batch input, MICN . Theyre not able to get any materials.
I wanted to know that since I have not maintained D indicator. This has resulted in the system giving an message of no material available for Cycle count.
So, if they maintain the D indicator or remove the D indicator for materials whether they would able to run the batch count.
Thanks,
Ravi
So its necessary to maintain all the indicator A,B,C and D which will come total 100.
what happens if we are only maintaining only A+B+C=100 and in material Master we are mainitaining only A , B and C only and never using D indicator. So, whether we will be able to execute MICN without having any inconsistency

I'm saying the scenario which has not actually taken place.
I would like to know whether the deletion of D indicator in OMCO while maintaining the same in Material master will have a problem in creating session .

You initially said you had it done "I have also deleted the D indicator".
You will not be able to execute MICN for this plant, SAP is checking the consistency of customizing and will issue an error message:
Message no. M7651
As said before, even in material master maintenance you will receive an error message:
Message no. MM241
With this thoughtless deletion of customizing despite of having the values assigned in material master you actually created an inconsistency in your system. And if you change any other field in the material master you will not be able to save until you have removed this cycle count indicator as SAP will check the correctness of all fields when saving.
The selection for cycle count is a frequently asked question, you should search before posting a redundant question. Of course can a session not be created if nothing was selected.
But this has much different reasons than this inconsistency with the D in the cycle count indicator field.
