I installed SAP NW 7.4 in a server with Linux OS for developing purpose, and I want to install the SMP 3 SP05 last release on the same computer/server for developing and learning purpose.
Is that possible to have 2 in One ?
Also if the OS is windows will that be possible ?
Please note that I don't want any VM solution the question is about installing in the same Computer same OS.
That means they both can run at same time on same instance.
So the SMP will be running on ports other than the ports that is used by NW 7.4, Right ?
For example:
SMP will be running at : http://localhost:8080/
AND
NW 7.4 GW will be running at : http://localhost:3300/

Hi Momen,
It is technically possible to install both NW and SMP on the same instance (Linux or Windows). However, if you plan to install licensed software and have SAP support model in place then it is highly recommended to have dedicated system with all the software installation prerequisites.
