Error in Installation of ERP Enhancement Package 7: Unable to call function ... Time limit exeeded

Hi I am getting Error in Sap Installation of ERP Enhancement Package 7 Please help:\

       An error occurred while processing option SAP Business Suite 7i 2013 Support Release 2 > EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 ABAP Support Release 2 > MS SQL Server > SAP Systems > Application Server ABAP > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step: Unable to call function. Error message: Time limit exceeded .). You can now:

• Choose Retry
  to repeat the current step.
• Choose Log Files
  to get more information about the error.
• Stop the option and continue later.

Log files are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/BS2013SR2/ERP607SR2/MSS/INSTALL/STD/ABAP.

Hello Sanket,

Please change the system parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time = 0 on the central instance profile and repeat again the phase. If it doesn't work we can try to take a look deeper on the upgrade logs.

I also faced the same issue while installing SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7 and solved it by,

changing the profile parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time value to 3600.

then

Stop SAP,

Stop database and

Restart server, then start SAP again and run the installer.

problem was with running the Report RADDBDIF.

So I manually Executed  the report RADDBDIF using se38.

Now looking forward.....

Hello Sanket,

Can you please provide more error logs. Just go in the installation directory and provide latest 2 logs for more analysis.

Generally this problem comes due to the Installation kernel CD mismatching.

Looks like the instance failed to start.

Check the developer traces of the instance to know more.

Get the logs for this phase.

You will get to know the actual cause behind this timeout.
