1099 forms using S_P00_07000134 - SUPPRESS BACKGROUND GRAPHIC

Hi All,

We are trying to print forms and looking for SUPPRESS BACKGROUND GRAPHIC button but it is not available. We are using adobe forms and checked following note and found some are not relevant to our system and some are implemented. Still we are struggling to find SUPPRESS BACKGROUND GRAPHIC button. Please suggest.

    Hi Vishal,

    You are suppose to use pre-printed scannable stationery. The official printed version of this IRS form is scannable. To print to this official printed version you have to suppress the background graphics. To suppress the background graphics, you have to press the button 'Display Background Picture' in print preview mode. This will allow you to print only the data.
    Run the program RFIDYYWT, t hen go to the print-preview screen. When you get to the form printing press button 'Display Background Picture'/'Suppress Background Graphic', then print the data.
    You can view the 1099-Misc and instructions in the IRS website. Use notes 1535966, 1540165, 1546868

    Hi Vishal,

    The Suppress background graphic is only supported for smartform, it is an option that SAP provided to suppress background picture.

    For Adobe there is no such option to use.

    If you need to use suppress background please use the smartform to print your 1099 form.

    Hello All

    My query is , if smartform is henceforth not going to be supported and PDF form does not have suppress background option, then how will be print other copies like A in a pre printed stationery?

    Is note 2119847 resolving that issue as well?
