Client Deletion_Forgot to amend on SAP Route.

Hi Guys,

i'm so new this website and also to SAP it self.. if my post going to wrong forum, my apology.. please lead me to correct one.

i'm sap basis coordinator.. recently we perform client deletion for 1 of QAS client... for some reason i forgot to ammend transport route and remove the intended deletion client. since client deletion has been completed, i cant remove this client from transport route.. looking forward for your guys advise..

Hi.

The simplest and quickest way would simply be to recreate the client. Then delete the transport route and delete it again. As the client is empty i.e. has no client specific data the deletion will be very quick.

Are you sure than your transport routes are configured to target specific client (TMS option CTC = 1)

If it is not activated, you do not need to change the transport route.

If your TMS is configured for targeting clients the best thing would be to use target groups and define all your routes to target groups.

If you already have Target group defined maybe you are hit by the here under bug

You can delete the QAS system and then do the reconfiguration.

You can delete the existing TMS configuration and then perform the fresh configuration on your landscape from the TMS domain controller. before that check the transport request status in Production and development systems  refer the SCN thread with steps
