You are not authorized to delete the Security Token Cache

Hi All,

Actually I am facing the error "You are not authorized to delete the Security Token Cache" when  I am trying to execute the relevant back ground job.

It is running with the user SOLMAN_BTC, it doesn't have full authorization. I thought of changing  the step user who has full authorization. But I am trying to change it, in the first it was showing "Job cannot be changed due to its status".Here the status of the job is cancelled.

Can you please advise on the above issue as I couldn't find any other ways to proceed further.

or else, Also suggest me is there any relevant authorization object related to the report WSSE_TOKEN_CACHE_CLEANUP, so that I can assign it to the user SOLMAN_BTC for the successful running of the job.

Thanks in Advance

Regards,

Satyardha

Thanks for your reply Sriram.

But the Note seems to be very complex and I couldn't find anything regarding the above issue.

Could you/anyone  please help me in finding the solution for the above issue.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Satya ,

Click on the failed Job in TXN sm37  ( From the Menu  JOB -> Repeat Scheduling]

In the new Job create screen  shedule it at a later time ( say after 30 Mins ) .  You  will be now able to edit the step user for the new scheduled job .

Thanks ,

Hi folks,

it would be interesting for me what permissions must have the user to be able do cleanup security token cache to be able to assign necessary permissions. It is not realy a solution to assign all rights to this user.

Thx for any advise...

Hermann
