Hi Experts,

We have a strange case for PR release Strategy, We have 4 level release Z1, Z2,Z3 and Z4, and we have 4 approver's for PR release strategy. A1, A2, A3 and A4.

Here after approval done by A1 its went to A2, A2 has completed his task and for level Z3 again work flow triggered to A2 and he approved Z3 level also. But in Authorization we have given Level2 authorization to A2 and Level 3 authorization to A3.  We don't know why it is went to A2 again for level 3 Approval,

Kindly suggest what is the wrong in release strategy.

Thanks In Advance,

BR,

Basu

Basu,

Which agents does table T16FW assign for your release codes?  Which users are those agents assigned to?  Do you have any substitutes for them?

Hi Basu,

There is a lot of documentation and threads on release strategies.  Have you tried searching?  I typed in 'release strategies' in the search window, and there were 3722 results.

The key factor here is HOW are the agents being determined.  Perhaps you will get better answers if you tell us how the release strategies are configured, what release of SAP you are on, are you using standard or custom workflows, etc.

So this may be a workflow issue - or it may not.  Only better information will tell.

Good luck,

Sue
