Hello Experts,
I have a handling unit with open warehouse task. This open warehouse task is used at the time of shipping day. I have to move this handling unit to different location for some reason. Because of the open task i am not abe to move this HU. Is there anyway to solve this?
Cheers,
Steve
Hello Johann, Petr, Jobi,
I haven't blocked the HU.
This is in MFS area. We can keep 4 handling in the bin.2 HU in the front side of the bin 2 HU in the back side of the bin. we create WT for picking these HU's. we have issues when crane tries to remove the HU from the back side of the bin. we need to remove front HU's first and keep somewhere. an open task is waiting for the removal later for this
question is,
how to move the front bin HU without cancelling the open tasks?
Regards
Steve

Hi Steve,
in your case I think you can handle your issue with a Bulk Storage:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ewm70/helpdata/en/88/4a8041a17e060de10000000a1550b0/content.htm
with the Bulk Storage no HU are assigned to the warehouse task creation. So no HU can blocked in the front.
Another Option could provide the Storage Type Definition in SPRO:

Hi,
can you identify your removal rule and specific pick sequence in the system and put the HUs into the BIN physically in a way the front HU will be picked as a first? I suppose your system picks HUs within a BIN in ascending order, is that correct?
What may influence that sequence? Is there any dynamic variable?
Are you able to adjust putaway rule to match the desired removal sequence?

Petr
Hello Steve,
It is not possible to create again a HU task for the same HU.
Is it in MFS area?

Steve Steve,
in EWM it is not possible to edit open WTs.
Have you considered to block the HU for movements or alter the capacity/volume/weight consumption in HU header?

Petr

Hello Steve,
you can cancel your warehouse task with the transaction /N/SCWM/CANCPICK.
After cancellation you can move your HU with transaction /N/SCWM/ADHU.
Much success
Johann
