Classic - PO Cancelled, does SC will be re-opened for sourcing

Hi All,

It quite basic question. We are in Clssic scenario & PO has been created sucessfully. Due to several reason user deleted the PO or PO line item, does SC will be reopened for sourcing again ?

Hi Rohit,

Yes the SC will again be reopened for Sourcing as the SOURCE_REL_IND will be set back to enable it to appear back in Sourcing Cockpit.

So after the PO deletion check for the SC through BBP_PD (line item level) whether the above indicator is set.

This is as far as i think a standard functionality wherein deletion of PO results in SC being available again in SOCO for repurchase of the items.

Hi Pramod,

Additional to this, if we are not using SOCO, SC has a fixed vendor assignment & PO has been created directly from SC ordering.

Any idea how system will behave ?

Hi Rohit,

I think in this case the SC will have the status I1115 (Follow on Document deleted) once the PO has been deleted. Then upon logging into the portal for this SC think there would be an option to order again to allow us to create the new corresponding PO document.

Additionally we can use the FM BBP_REQREQ_RESUBMIT to create the new PO for the SC.
