Scheduling BO Reports using Redwood CPS

Hi

I am curious to know if there are any documentation on scheduling BO Reports using the Redwood CPS.

We are looking to integrate the Reports in line with the completion of ETL Loads for Facts that way we deliver the data in just the perfect time.

Please provide with some start-up and I can pick it up from there.

You can import and schedule Bobj Webi and Crystal reports from CPS.

Hi Nanda, thanks for your quick reply. That page helps me. Before I will close this question, I would like to ask if we can send the values for Input Prompts from the Redwood?

Good question. I'm on build M33.104 and i haven't found a way to send input prompts.

I have raised a message with SAP/Redwood support for this, will update once i have an answer.

Hey Ganesh,

Prompts are not supported for WebI reports.

Parameters are supported only for Crystal reports.

The work around for WebI reports, is that you can create multiple schedules which have default values setup for the prompts in Business Objects system and then use the CUID to kick off the schedule. This is of course a tedious a task, but it provides centralized scheduling option for now.

Do we have any recent updates on scheduling BO reports (webi) through Redwood CPS tool?I mean the webi reports with prompt values. Passing the prompt parameter values to Redwood and trigger them.

Hi,

We are not able to import and run the Bobj reportin CPS Redwood BPA(9.0.16.2) from SAP Business Objects using below methods..

SAP_Bobj_ImportreportDefinitions -  When importing bobj reoprt using this status is completed.

SAP_BObj_ReportRun - But when running report it is ending with error.PFA.

Please advise...

We are giving Below parameters in "In Parameter Mappings"  "Text Tab" below.(Even not saving as it is in Text Tab) But Output is not getting in Email as it is.It is getting in one line continuously.PFA. Could you please provide solution..P.F.A.

We need Email output as below:-

Name:2000_FCST_SAT_PIR_DELETE STEP-1

Job:2000_FCST_SAT_PIR_DELETE STEP-1

Program: RM60RR20

Variant: 2000_PIR_DELBK

Triggered from Redwood messaging.
