G/L account cannot auto filled in MIGO with MvT 551

Hi Experts,

When I try to scrap a material using MvT 551 in MIGO, the G/L account cannot be determined automatically (i.e. The G/L account field still empty after entering material + Plant + Sloc + Batch + Cost center).

In OBYC, the transaction "GBB" has already been set with "Account Determination" and the account assignment in "GBB-VNG" has been set.

Please help. Thanks!

Go to OMWN and check the account modifier assign to movement type 551. Is it VNG ?

Is system showing any error ?

Yes, it is GBB-VNG in OMWN. No error is showing, it is just Empty "G/L account" field during MIGO with MvT 551.

In OMWN:

MvT = 551

S = <blank>

Val Update = "X"

Qty Update = "X"

Mvt = <blank>

Cns = <blank>

Val.strng = WA01

Cn = 2

TEKey = GBB

Acct modif = VNG

Check = "X"

No problem.. Just go ahead and post the document. Check is there any error. System will take the G/L account automatically from T030 table with regards to the valuation class. In MIGO, system will not show the G/L account. If you do the same from MB1A, then you can able to see the G/L account.

Hi Yat Yee Lam,

   You need to maintain the corresponding G/L required in the OBYC setting as per the following combination in order the G/L is auto determined during 551 MVT type:

Under transaction key GBB the following shall be maintained:

valuation modifer + general modification + valuation class + G/L Account

eg:

1000

VNG

4000

51004000

No error occurs when pressing "Check" button in MIGO with MvT 551.
