bdc problem

Hi all,

I have bdc program. When I run program selection screen appears asking Session method or call transaction mode.Now I want to run this program in a background ,so I dont want this selection screen to get apper in the background.Because of which my background job get canceled.

So is there any method in which section screen will not be there and default mode should be call transaction.

Hi Sugeet,

set all the parameters, press the button save. That will create a variant.

Go to SM36 to create a background job, or just select in the menu to execut in background, and set the variant you just have created.

Hi,

Just create a variant and if u have a transaction code for this report then set this variant as default variant.

This might solve ur problem.
