how to add document for equipmet

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please let me know how to add document for equipment please explain along with steps

Hi Mohan m,

Please tell us what do you wants to get like? ie you can put in my knowledge in 3 places.

1 - In the Service Object. (General for all in SAP)

In the IE02 at the top left corner, use this icon.

2 - In the Local or Equipment with the DMS - Document Management System (Open Text - I don´t used for the moment and you need to have DMS active it and  the document type should allow the PM object)

a - Create DMS document in the CV01N with the type document accept PM object and attach the document.

b - In the tab "Object links" put the equipment code and save.

3 - In the PM Structure Object with DMS. (Special PM view in the BOM local or equipment view)

a - Create DMS document in the CV01N with the type document accept PM object and attach the document.

b - Create the BOM equipment in the IB01 and in the document category put "D" - Document item

c - This will ask you the number DMS document created in the step a and save.
